JAZZÅÅ5 is a quintet that has established its place on the jazz scene in Southwest Finland.

The ensemble’s musicians bring strong interplay and extensive experience, reflected both in their stage presence and in their authentic, period-style swing. Their repertoire takes the listener into the world of dixieland and swing jazz from the 1920s to the 1950s, complemented by smooth jazz ballads, the nuances of bossa nova, and timeless sweet jazz classics. The program features melodies made famous by artists such as Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, as well as vocalists Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, Frank Sinatra, and Nat King Cole.

JAZZÅÅ5’s distinctive, full-bodied sound is built on a rich palette of instruments: accordion and Hammond organ meet banjo, guitar, saxophone, clarinet, bass, and drums. Their original arrangements give well-known pieces a personal and fresh interpretation. The ensemble has performed widely across southern Finland, and their popular jazz evenings in Dalsbruk on Kimitoön are sold out year after year. JAZZÅÅ5 offers audiences a musical journey through the golden age of jazz – with warm energy, strong interplay, and music that leaves a lasting impression.
