Rob Dominis Solo Piano

Rob Dominis is an American pianist who moved to Finland in 1989 after studying jazz piano at the prestigious University of Miami in Florida. He has been a teacher at the Helsinki Pop & Jazz Conservatory since 1990. In addition to his teaching, Rob has performed extensively in Finland and abroad and has played on over 30 albums. In 2015, he produced his first solo album Standards.

While jazz is closest to his heart, Rob has extensive experience in various musical styles. He has played with many of Finland’s leading pop, jazz, Latin, and dance music artists, enriching his musical expression. His solo piano sets feature a diverse selection of pieces, blending familiar and enjoyable melodies from different genres.
