Baltic Jazz 2020 postponed to next summer

23.4.2020

We were hoping to revive the Prohibition Era in Dalsbruk this summer, but we got a bit more than we bargained for. The new 20’s brought on a new type of prohibition era and we hereby announce that Baltic Jazz will be postponed to 9-11 July 2021. We care about the safety and wellbeing of our visitors, artists, volunteers and others involved and follow the guidelines of our Government set to limit the spread of the coronavirus disease.

The programme intended for this year’s festival received a lot of positive feedback in advance and we aim to realise as much as possible of the same concerts with the same artists next year instead. 100 years ago they were fighting the Spanish Flu and in a similar manner, we too must live through a pandemic before the 20’s can roar again.

Our work will not be put on hold because of this – we will work twice as hard to give you an even better experience next year instead. So that you do not need to wait another year before Dalsbruk is filled with jazz music again, we are planning autumn activities – more information to follow later.

If you want to show your appreciation for our festival, you are more than welcome to join our association as an individual (15 €) or support member (45 €)*! Tickets purchased for Baltic Jazz 2020 can either be used next year instead of refunded through Tiketti (except for handling fees).

Take care of yourselves and each other!
